How do I control my health data?

As a patient, you own your medical record, hence any visit to a doctor or clinic, only you can give consent to the clinic to access your medical record, without your consent your medical record is not accessible by anyone.

Please note that your medical data and personal identity are encrypted with RSA encryption, so nobody can access it without your authorization.

The consenting process consists of 2 methods:

1. You give your IC to the clerks and the clerks will validate the physical IC/ID using our scanner
2. An SMS or RHRAC or 6-digit one-time password will be sent to your mobile when a clinic request for access - you will give this 6-digit code to the clinic personnel before a treatment can be done
